Pacific Rim adds Max Martini

Pacific Rim has picked up a new cast member according to Variety. Max Martini (Saving Private Ryan) is said to be joining Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, and Charlie Day in the Guillermo del Tor-directed monster movie. Arriving in theaters on July 12th, 2013, Pacific Rim is “Set in a future in which malevolent creatures threaten the earth, the planet must band together and use highly advanced technology to eradicate the growing menace”.

The movie is expected to begin filming later this year and we'll continue to post casting announcements as they are released.
