If you checked out our Gremlins 30th anniversary issue of DEADLY Magazine or you read Heather Wixson's two-part interview with special effects artist Chris Walas, then you know we're big fans of Joe Dante's beloved 1984 horror comedy, which is why we're especially thrilled that the film is coming back to theaters for one week this December.

The 4DX screenings of Gremlins will take place from Thursday, December 5th through Wednesday, December 11th at Regal theaters. To learn more and to keep an eye out for updated showtimes, visit Regal's official website.

For those unfamiliar with the immersive elements of 4DX screenings, read Heather Wixson's previous 4DX experiences with IT (2017) and Jigsaw.

Directed by Joe Dante from a screenplay by Chris Columbus, Gremlins stars Hoyt Axton, Phoebe Cates, Zach Galligan, Frances Lee McCain, Polly Holliday.

Synopsis: "A boy inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town."

In case you missed it, WarnerMedia officially ordered a Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai series with a 10-episode first season that will serve as a prequel to Joe Dante's Gremlins.
