Horror anthology fans can now mark their calendars for Magnet Releasing's XX, which will feature short films from directors Karyn Kusama, Mary Harron, Jennifer Lynch, Jovanka Vuckovic, and Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent).

According to Bloody Disgusting, XX will be released on Friday, February 17th, following its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for our upcoming Sundance coverage of XX and other horror films.

Synopsis: "XX is a new horror anthology with a gender twist - all segments will be helmed by female directors and will star female leads. The directors have been given free creative rein within budget and time constraints, but all of the segments themselves will involve the horror genre."
