At the El Captian theater in Hollywood today, Marvel revealed the titles and release dates of their Phase 3 movies, confirming calendar spots for films like Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, and Thor: Ragnarok, as well as moving Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to a different spot on the calendar.

In front of a packed house today, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced the company's much anticipated Phase 3 plans, including these highlights for films already known to be in the pipeline:

  • Doctor Strange is slated for a November 4th, 2016 release
  • Captain America 3 is now titled Captain America: Civil War and was confirmed to hit theaters on May 6th, 2016
  • The third Thor film is titled Thor: Ragnarok and will come out on July 28th, 2017
  • Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been moved from its original July 28th, 2017 release date to the May 5th, 2017 calendar slot
