"Rachel True pays homage to The Craft and Half-Baked with private tarot readings at a glass blowing studio in Salem, Massachusetts

This year will mark the first Halloween season in Salem with legal marijuana.

Salem MA - Salem Horror Fest will offer fans of both The Craft and Half-Baked the opportunity to have their fortunes told in a private tarot reading with Rachel True on Saturday, October 5th at Witch Dr., a glass blowing studio, gallery and retail shop in Salem, Massachusetts.

As a life-long tarot practitioner, True plans to release True Heart Tarot book and deck from Houghten Mifflin Harcourt Press. The collection will illuminate the energy of the major Arcana with essays and illustrations from her mixed black Jewish acting experience and mystical “chick” life in L.A.

“Tarot is a useful tool to connect our mind, body and spirit. When we connect with those, we are our true self,” True said in a statement.

People can also meet Rachel True for photo opps, autographs and selfies at Haunted Harbor at Salem Horror Fest on Friday, October 4th and Sunday, October 6th at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. She can also be seen in Shudder’s documentary Horror Noire: A Black History of Horror screening at the Peabody Essex Museum on Saturday, October 5th. Often known as a mystical haven for modern day witches, Salem now claims 420-friendly status since a ballot initiative in 2016 legalized the sale, growth and consumption of cannabis. State law allows customers to buy up to 1 ounce of marijuana per day. Consumption is not permitted on public or federal land. Recreational marijuana is taxed at 20 percent. Massachusetts estimates it will collect nearly $216 million in taxes in the first two years of recreational sales. For more information about marijuana in Salem visit salem.org."
