One of the most exciting genre celebrations in recent years, the Salem Horror Fest celebrated another successful gathering of horror lovers this past October, and Daily Dead was thrilled to be a media sponsor of the 10-day event. If you love the horror genre, or if you enjoy learning more about American history, or if you revel in the fire-red leaves of autumn, then we highly recommend you make time on your calendar for Salem Horror Fest next year. Thankfully, you can already start planning your stay, as the official dates for next year's festival have been announced.

Salem Horror Fest 2019 will begin on Thursday, October 3rd and run through Sunday, October 13th. If you're looking to book a hotel or secure an Airbnb, then you'll want to do it here sooner rather than later, as space is limited.

The Daily Dead team had an amazing time at this year's Salem Horror Fest, with Jonathan James hosting a conversation with George A. Romero's son, George C. Romero, and Bryan Christopher hosting witch-themed trivia at the Daily Dead Trivia Tweetup during the festival's "Weekend of the Witch."

Attendees this year were also treated to a keynote presentation by Blumhouse's Ryan Turek, a Q&A with Cassandra Peterson in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, early screenings of the new Halloween, and much more!

Events for next year's Salem Horror Fest have yet to be announced, but we'll be sure to keep Daily Dead readers updated on the festival, and you can also keep an eye on their official website for more information!
