Last year, Scream Factory celebrated Silent Night, Deadly Night with a Collector's Edition Blu-ray that included a NECA figure of Billy Chapman, and this year they're decking the halls with deadly delights once again for the sequel. Initially announced at Comic-Con, the Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 Collector's Edition Blu-ray will come with a Ricky Killer Santa figure (so you can re-enact your own "garbage day!" scene) from NECA and new cover art by Joel Robinson.
Scream Factory will release Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 Collector's Edition Blu-ray on December 11th. While the full list of special features will be announced in November, Scream Factory revealed that the release will include a new HD film transfer. From Scream Factory: "The holiday slasher sequel (which brought us the infamous “Garbage Day!” scene) is heading down the chimney and dropping for a release before the holidays. Here’s all the exciting info we have currently to share with you!
• Official street date for the Blu-ray release is December 11th for U.S. and Canada territories (Region A).
• It will be branded as a “Collector’s Edition” that will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date)
• The newly-commissioned artwork pictured comes to us from artist Joel Robinson (who also created last year’s pitch-perfect Silent Night Deadly Night for us). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will showcase the iconic original theatrical poster art design.
• An all-new HD film transfer (from best surviving elements) and extras are in progress and will be announced in early November. Stay tuned!
