"I am we." Sensates have united around the world in the wake of Sense8's cancellation, and in a letter to the passionate fans of the show, co-creator Lana Wachowski reveals that the outpouring of support has helped revive the series for a two-hour special on Netflix.

The two-hour Sense8 special is expected to premiere sometime in 2018. It should bring some bittersweet closure to fans to know that even though the series might still be coming to an end (although Lana's letter leaves room open for hope even beyond the two-hour special), it would do so with a sendoff that will give the Wachowskis, cast, crew, and viewers a chance to say goodbye. You can read Lana's full letter below (via Sense8's Facebook page). Are you excited to see the adventures of the sensates continue?
