Horror fans hungry for more adventures with Ash have gotten their fix time and time again from Space Goat Productions, and that doesn't look to be ending anytime soon, as the company, along with Studiocanal and Creative Licensing, has added another three years onto their license to make Evil Dead 2 comic books, and they're going to celebrate the film's 30th anniversary with a new comic book miniseries, an adult coloring book, and a hardcover omnibus.

Titled Evil Dead 2: Doppleganger Wars, the new miniseries is slated to come out in the second half of 2017, along with the coloring book and hardcover omnibus. We have the official press release with full details below, as well as a look at concept art for the new miniseries:

Press Release: (February 17th, 2016 - Bellingham, WA) - Space Goat Productions, in partnership with Studiocanal and Creative Licensing, has announced they are extending their license for the Evil Dead 2 comic books for another 3 years. An adult coloring book, art book, and hardcover omnibus based off of the Evil Dead 2 comic books will be released in 2017 to celebrate the movie's 30th anniversary.

"For 30 years this year, Evil Dead 2 fans have shown their thirst for quality Evil Dead products know no bounds," said publisher Shon Bury. "Fortunately for them, we have the same thirst."

The Evil Dead 2 themed coloring book will be unveiled at Emerald City ComiCon in March 2017.

A new 4-issue comic book mini-series Evil Dead 2: Doppleganger Wars is scheduled to be released in the latter half of 2017 and will feature Ash Williams going against an army of Ash doppelgangers. The adult coloring book, art book and hardcover omnibus will also be released in the latter half of 2017, along with anniversary editions of already released trade paperbacks.
