Fans of the apocalyptic vampire film Stake Land have been looking forward to the continued adventures of Martin and Mister since the film was released in 2010, and this Saturday night, the wait will be over when Stake Land 2 (formerly known as The Stakelander) premieres on the Syfy channel at 9:00pm ET.
Synopsis: "The saga of the post-apocalyptic indie hit STAKE LAND (dir. Jim Mickle) continues with STAKE LAND 2, premiering on Syfy this weekend. After a personal tragedy, Martin ventures into the American badlands in search of legendary vampire hunter Mister, hoping to reteam with him against a rapidly escalating threat posed by highly evolved vampires and their frightening allies."
Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen from a screenplay by Nick Damici, Stake Land 2 stars Connor Paolo, Nick Damici, Laura Abramson, A.C. Peterson, Bonnie Dennison, Kristina Hughes, Steve Williams. The sequel was produced by Peter Phok, Larry Fessenden, and Greg Newman.
