A teaser poster has just been released for Universal's Dracula Untold, giving us our first look at Luke Evans as Dracula. Due out on October 17th, the movie was directed by Gary Shore from a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

For those that missed our earlier coverage of this title, the movie has changed directors a number of times over the years before filming and was previously known as Dracula: Year Zero. As opposed to a straight horror movie, Dracula Untold is said to tell the story of a "a young prince who, when the lives of his wife and child are put in danger by a bloodthirsty sultan, risks his soul to save them, and in the process becomes the first vampire.” (via THR)

With the movie's release nearly four months away, we expect to see the first trailer in the coming weeks and will let Daily Dead readers know as soon as it's available to watch.
