On Monday, we learned that Robert Rodriguez was moving forward with Machete Kills. Take a look at sales art designed to promote the upcoming movie this week at the European Film Market.
As reported earlier, Robert Rodriguez is working with producer Alexander Rodnyansky on the sequel and many of the original cast members are expected to return. Filming is expected to start in the next few months, so keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks.
Here’s the synopsis for the sequel: “The new film finds Machete recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy.”
