We don't even have the official title of the movie yet, but now there is confirmation on a shooting start date, as well as a previous Bill Moseley casting story.

While speaking with Collider, producer Mark Berg revealed that shooting of the new Texas Chainsaw film will begin on July 18th. He also confirmed a previous report regarding Bill Moseley joining the cast, however he did mention that the deal is not 100% finalized yet.

When/if Bill Mosely joins the cast, he will be playing a new character named Drayton and not Chop Top from the second film.

In case you missed out on previous coverage, John Luessenhop will be directing an all new Texas Chainsaw movie that is a direct sequel to the 1974 Tobe Hooper film. With shooting starting in less than a month, we'll be hearing new casting announcements very soon.
