The Resident Finds US Distributor

Hammer Film's The Resident will receive a theatrical release in the spring of 2011, courtesy of Image Entertainment. The Resident stars Hilary Swank, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, Supernatural), and horror legend Christopher Lee. Hammer Films describes The Resident as "the story of a beautiful young doctor (Swank) who begins a new life in Brooklyn after separating from her husband. Her stunning and spacious loft seems too good to be true, and when mysterious occurrences lead her to believe she’s not alone, she discovers the unthinkable…someone is watching her."

Christopher Lee appearing in a new Hammer film guarantees that I will be seeing this film. It obviously isn't the original Hammer, but I'm really interested in their current slate of projects and hope for the best.
