Continuing our special features leading up to the premiere of The Walking Dead Season 3, I have my recent interview with Sara Wayne Callies, who plays Lori on the show. I had the pleasure of interviewing Gale Anne Hurd last week, the morning after she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While I've spoken with her before during roundtable interviews, it was nice to have some one on one time with the person who produced The Terminator and Aliens, and helped bring The Walking Dead to television.
During our interview, I had a chance to ask about the challenges she faced this season as an executive producer. We also talked about adapting the comic book series and she had some very interesting comments about the future of The Walking Dead TV series:

Fans of The Walking Dead comic book series are excited to see some of their favorite characters and storylines introduced in the third season, so I thought I'd start things off with Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne. The Walking Dead TV Series 2 action figures aren't even available yet and we have our first look at the Series 3 action figures. With NYCC taking place next week, we have a feeling that we'll get a better look at these figures in the coming days. Until then, here's an early look and product descriptions for Michonne, Merle, the Autopsy Zombie, and Michonne's Pet Zombies:
