If AMC's The Walking Dead had existed in the 1980's, an arcade cabinet adaptation could have had people lining up out the door with their pockets full of quarters and their minds looking forward to the button-mashing mayhem to come. A sequel game could have covered The Walking Dead’s action-packed third and fourth seasons, from the clearing of the prison, to The Governor's tank-led attack, to Rick taking a bite out of Joe's neck and beyond. Though The Walking Dead obviously didn't exist during the ’80s (and may have looked a lot different had it debuted in that decade), David Dutton of CineFix has thankfully followed up his beautiful "what if?" 8-bit recreation of The Walking Dead’s first two seasons with the anticipated sequel video that brings the third and fourth seasons to life in retro gaming fashion, complete with an electronic ’80's score supplied by Henry Dutton.

The letter "W" carved into the rotting flesh of walkers, the flickering flames of a campfire in the distance, and dismembered body parts similar to the remains left at Noah's neighborhood mean that more than the living dead are prowling the wilderness outside Alexandria's walls. Daryl and Aaron were on the trail of someone (or perhaps a group of people) who might have a sick perspective on the world in last night's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead and their search continues in two photos from "Conquer", the 90-minute season five finale that airs on Sunday night. We also have two preview videos that hint at Rick's fate following his gritty fight with Pete.

Since 2011's The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor, fans of Robert Kirkman's living dead world have been able to get their Walking Dead fix in novel form in addition to the comic book series and TV show. Last year, Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga kicked off a brand new 4-book series with The Walking Dead: Descent and it's now been announced that Bonansinga's follow-up novel, The Walking Dead: Invasion, will be unleashed in October. Along with its release date, the new zombie novel's cover art and synopsis have been revealed, with the latter teasing the apocalyptic challenges Lilly Caul will face this time around, including the deranged Reverend Jeremiah Garlitz.

What if Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series had been adapted to television in the 1980's, when the Nintendo Home Entertainment System was king of the consoles? It's very possible that we would have seen The Walking Dead brought to 8-bit life in an NES game. If this "what if?" has ever crossed your mind, wonder no more, as David Dutton at CineFix has recreated the first two seasons of The Walking Dead with 8-bit technology. Humor and horror abound watching key moments from the show replicated with crude (but still beautiful in their own way) graphics and the stripped-down storytelling of an NES game, accompanied by delightfully retro music seemingly pulled straight out of an ’80's arcade by Henry Dutton.

Though your mind still might be stuck in the walker-pinned revolving door of devastation from "Spend", last night's heart-wrenching, visceral, and ultimately haunting Jennifer Lynch-directed episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, it's already time to look ahead to the next installment of the season, "Try." New photos and preview videos tease the growing turmoil within Alexandria's walls and the group's continued trips outside its perimeter, while Norman Reedus takes Daryl's custom-made motorcycle for a test drive in a behind-the-scenes video.

Although Rick, Carl, Judith, and the rest of their big family may be sleeping within the walls of a "safe" zone, we've seen their encounters with the living dead continue on trips outside Alexandria, and "Spend", next week's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, should be no exception. We have a look at four additional photos for the Jennifer Lynch-directed episode, featuring walkers emerging from the woods and Abraham with his gun drawn and sights set.

With cameras rolling inside of Alexandria's walls on AMC's The Walking Dead, the enduring cast members have enjoyed the luxury of swapping in their grime-covered gear for clean clothes, including police uniforms for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). As the characters continue to get acclimated to the enjoyable elements of their new surroundings, so too are the cast and crew, as shown in our behind-the-scenes photos from the latest episode, "Forget", one of which features a decorative dessert walker that looks like it could be a cousin of the well walker from season two.

Jessie's son, Sam, was given a choice by Carol Peletier in "Forget", the latest episode of AMC's The Walking Dead. He could either choose to be tied to a tree in the walker-ridden wilderness and get eaten alive by the living dead, or he could opt to eat endless batches of Carol's cookies. Unsurprisingly, he chose the latter, deciding to keep quiet about seeing a new addition to Alexandria stealing a bagful of guns. Carol's threat was disturbing, cunning, and likely made many viewers hungry for those cookies. Well, if you found your mouth watering for some fresh-baked apocalyptic treats (dubbed "Look at the Flour" on a Talking Dead poll), you can now bake them in time for next week's episode, as AMC has released the recipe for Carol's delectable dessert.
