In two new clips from In Search of Darkness, John Carpenter and Actor Keith David discuss filming the on-screen fight between Frank (Keith David) and Nada (Roddy Piper) in They Live, and they talk about their favorite scenes from The Thing!
It was a time when horror reigned supreme, when slasher icons stabbed their way through cinemas, when practical effects oozed from the pores of mind-bending creations that had to be seen on the big screen to be believed. It was the ’80s, and this magical era of horror is dissected with more than 40 top-level interviews in the new film In Search of Darkness: The Definitive ’80s Horror Documentary.
Featuring Monster Squad: Celebrating the Artists Behind Cinema's Most Memorable Creatures author and Daily Dead Managing Editor Heather Wixson as one of the documentary's interviewees and producers, In Search of Darkness recently had its premiere at Beyond Fest.
Recently, it was revealed that there's a new limited edition Collectors Edition that includes a Blu-Ray or DVD, Poster, Enamel Pin, Postcard and an opportunity to be featured in the credits. The package will only be available during the month of October, retails for $59.99, and is available exclusively from www.80shorrordoc.com.
