This Friday, The Possession of Hannah Grace will be arriving in theaters, ready to snatch some souls and thrill audiences everywhere. Directed by Diederik Van Rooijen, Hannah Grace follows a former cop (Shay Mitchell, Pretty Little Liars) who now works the graveyard shift at a hospital morgue, where she encounters the corpse of a young woman whose remains still have a little (demonic) life left in them, wreaking havoc on everyone that comes in contact with the body of Hannah Grace (Kirby Johnson).

At the recent press day for The Possession of Hannah Grace, Daily Dead spoke with Mitchell, who discussed the appeal of her character in the film, Megan Reed, and how she must overcome some devastating trauma from her past and deal with her inner demons, all while contending with a demonic presence in the form of the titular character. Shay also chatted about preparing for the challenges of her role in Hannah Grace and the emotional weight she carried with her throughout production on the film as well.
