This weekend, Hell Fest opens its doors to an unassuming group of college co-eds who end up fighting for their lives when a serial killer uses a haunted attraction as his own personal hunting ground, looking for new victims to add to his collection.

Directed by Gregory Plotkin, Hell Fest stars genre icon Tony Todd as well as Amy Forsyth, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards, Christian James, Matt Mercurio, and Roby Attal. Horror journalist Staci Layne Wilson recently attended the press day for the film on behalf of Daily Dead, where she chatted with Plotkin, producer Gale Anne Hurd, and several of the cast members (including Todd) about how the project came together, their experiences working in Atlanta during production, insights into their characters, and bringing a brand-new slasher villain to life on the big screen.

Check out our video interviews with the cast and crew from Hell Fest below, and look for the film in theaters beginning tonight, courtesy of CBS Films and Lionsgate.
