A reimagining of the haunting 1990 film of the same name (that starred Tim Robbins and was directed by Adrian Lyne from a screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin), the first trailer for the new Jacob's Ladder has been unveiled ahead of the movie's release this August.

Directed by David M. Rosenthal from a screenplay by Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorpe, Jacob's Ladder stars Michael Ealy, Nicole Beharie, Jesse Williams, and Joseph Sikora. Vertical Entertainment will release the film in theaters on August 23rd.
