If you've been self-quarantining at home or taking extra precautions while venturing outside during the days of the coronavirus (COVID-19), then perhaps you've been thinking of how real life is starting to mirror a zombie film (minus the flesh eating). And if you've been wishing you could just have a pint of lager and wait for this whole thing to blow over, then maybe you've been thinking of Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead. If so, you're not the only one, because Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have released a new public service announcement styled after one of the infinitely quotable scenes from their 2004 rom-zom-com.

Posted on the official YouTube channel for Pegg and Frost's production company Stolen Picture, the new PSA video features the duo discussing what to do in the midst of the coronavirus, only this time they're talking over the phone, and as far as we know, there isn't a zombified girl in the garden. This time, Pegg advises Frost not to go to the Winchester and to instead stay at home, and the two also poke some fun at their beloved horror comedy.

You can watch the new video below, and if you're in the need of some blood-spattered laughs, consider throwing on Shaun of the Dead from the comfort of your own home. The film turns 16 this year and still feels as fresh, funny, and heartfelt as it did when it first came out all those years ago.
