That was fast... Shortly after announcing a June premiere date for True Blood Season 6, HBO has already released the first teaser trailer with actual episode footage. As previously reported, this season will only have 10 episodes, with the first episode airing on June 16th at 9:00 pm.

As you can see from the trailer below, the season picks up right after the events of the Season 5 finale, with a large cast of new characters joining the group for the new story arc. Rutger Hauer, Arliss Howard, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Amelia Rose Blaire, Karolina Wydra, and Luke Grimes all have new roles on the show.

Like last year, expect plenty of details and content from the new season to show up in May. If you need to catch up on True Blood, Season 5 will be released on May 21st. For more information, visit: http://dailydead.com/true-blood-season-5-blu-raydvd-release-details-and-cover-art/
