"You stole my face, and now I'm going to get it back." In his Fantasia review, Ben Larned called Cam "the first real millennial horror film," and following its well-received festival run, the first official trailer for Cam has been released, featuring a webcam performer (played by Madeline Brewer) who finds that her identity is running rampant online, with potentially deadly consequences.

Produced by Divide/Conquer and co-financed by Blumhouse Productions and Gunpowder & Sky, Cam will be released on Netflix and in select Alamo Drafthouse theaters on November 16th.

You can check out the official trailer and poster below, and in case you missed it, read Heather Wixson's Fantastic Fest interview with director Daniel Goldhaber, screenwriter Isa Mazzei, and star Madeline Brewer.

"CAM is a technology-driven psychological thriller [that] follows Alice (Brewer), an ambitious camgirl, who wakes up one day to discover she’s been replaced on her show with an exact replica of herself. As this copy begins to push the boundaries of Alice’s internet identity, the control that Alice has over her life, and the men in it, vanishes. While she struggles to regain what she’s lost, she slowly finds herself drawn back to her show and to the mysterious person who has taken her place."
