After premiering at last year's Toronto International Film Festival and screening at Sitges (read Ben Larned's review here), David Bruckner's film adaptation of Adam Nevill's novel The Ritual will find a home on Netflix beginning February 9th. In the meantime, the streaming service released a new trailer that takes viewers deep into the woods and the haunted corridors of the mind.

Directed by David Bruckner (The Signal), The Ritual stars Rafe Spall (The Big Short, Life of Pi), Robert James-Collier (Downton Abbey, Spike Island), Arsher Ali (Line of Duty, Four Lions), and Sam Troughton (Robin Hood, Alien vs. Predator).

Synopsis: "After the death of their friend, a group of old college friends embarks on a hiking trip through an unnerving Scandinavian forest. They should have gone to Vegas…"
