*Updated* While it's not too surprising that Telltale is interested in bringing The Walking Dead video game to next gen consoles, we have the first details from a listing that appeared on GameStop. Keep in mind that some of this information could change, but GameStop is now taking orders on The Walking Dead Game of the Year edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One [Updated]. A release date of June 17th is mentioned with a retail price of $29.99.

Telltale Games has not officially announced their plans for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, so if this is correct, we'd expect more details in the very near future. Originally released last November on other systems, The Walking Dead Game of the Year edition included all five episodes of Season One and the 400 Days DLC episode:

"The Biggest Zombie Franchise the World Has Seen. Telltale's The Walking Dead is set in the same world as Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series. This Game of the Year collection includes all five episodes of Season One of The Walking Dead and includes '400 Days', a special episode that was previously available only as downloadable content. Telltale's The Walking Dead is made up of five episodes that each won numerous high-score accolades and editor's choice awards. Together, as one season, they won over 90 Game of the Year Awards from around the world, plus prestigious BAFTA Awards, proving that a zombie game didn't need to be all about guns, and that gamers would respond fanatically to a deeply emotional story that would leave them craving more."
