Until recently, the production of World War Z was generating more news than the movie itself. After script changes, reshoots, and a release delay, zombie fans around the world will find out if it was worth the wait on June 21st. If you'd like to get an idea of what it took to make an epic zombie movie, we have 11 minutes of B-roll footage.

“World War Z tells the story of the world’s desperate battle against the zombie threat with a series of first-person accounts ‘as told to the author’ by various characters around the world. A Chinese doctor encounters one of the earliest zombie cases at a time when the Chinese government is ruthlessly suppressing any information about the outbreak that will soon spread across the globe. The tale then follows the outbreak via testimony of smugglers, intelligence officials, military personnel and many others who struggle to defeat the zombie menace.”

Based on the Max Brooks novel of the same name, World War Z will be released on June 21st in the US, UK, and a number of other countries around the world. The movie was directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) and stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, and James Badge. Catch up on our recent coverage by visiting the following links:
