We're excited about the reveal of a new Alan Wake game during this year's Video Game Awards. While we'll still have to wait until December for the full reveal, a brief teaser trailer has been released and we've embedded it for you to check out.

The rumored title of the game is Alan Wake's Night Springs, and the first screenshot was released earlier this week. In the original game, “Night Springs” is a fictional TV series within the game that is similar to The Twilight Zone, and it looks like Alan Wake will be taking a trip to Night Springs in this new game.

This game is being referred to as a "full download title" and will be a standalone game that you can buy over Xbox Live. The official game reveal will take place during the Video Game Awards Saturday, December 10 on Spike TV at 8:00 p.m. For more information and to see the first screenshot, visit: http://dailydead.com/first-image-from-new-alan-wake-game/
