Why do you keep teasing us, Fox? Footage was already shown in July at Comic Con, but Fox has been holding off on their marketing push for Prometheus. We're hoping to see the official trailer release before the end of the year and we have what may be the official teaser poster for the film.
According to Alien Prequel News, this poster was spotted out in the wild and should be officially released in the next few days. The tagline on the poster is: "The search for our beginning could lead to our end"
We'll know soon enough whether or not this is the real deal when an official digital copy is released. Until then, check out a photo of the poster below. Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott and will be released on June 8th, 2012. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson, and Guy Pearce.
