Jessica Lange Wins Golden Globe for American Horror Story

Horror movies and TV series rarely receive award nominations, let alone wins, so it's great news to hear that Jessica Lange has won a Golden Globe for her role on American Horror Story.

Other actresses nominated in the "Best Supporting Actress in a TV Movie, Series, or Miniseries" category included Kelly MacDonald (Boardwalk Empire), Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey), Evan Rachel Wood (Mildred Pierce), and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family). Jessica Lange won over fans and critics as Constance in American Horror Story, where she played a pivotal role in the tragedies that befell those who lived in the "Murder House".

American Horror Story was also nominated for "Best TV Series, Drama", but lost out to Homeland. No other horror-related TV shows were nominated this year, but we'll update our story after the awards show with a full list of winners.
