From House of Wax to The Amityville Horror, Heather and Patrick play a frighteningly fun game of "remake roulette" on a new episode of Corpse Club.
Whether you love them or loathe them, there have been enough remakes in the horror genre over the decades to warrant their own subgenre. On a new "Horrigins" episode of Daily Dead's official podcast, Heather Wixson and Patrick Bromley pull random film titles out of a hat in a game of "remake roulette," leading to discussions on a wide range of horror movies both original and reimagined, including House of Wax, Silent Night, and The Amityville Horror. If they select a horror movie title that hasn't been remade, they talk about whether or not they would like to see it reimagined, and what they would want to see in a new take. If a selected horror movie has already been remade, Heather and Patrick discuss their thoughts on the remake versus the original. It’s the first installment in a daring game of chance, so sit back, relax, and listen as the Corpse Club co-hosts play “remake roulette”!
