It was just announced that Lollipop Chainsaw would receive a June release. The developers have been showing off the game recently and we have details on changes for the Japanese version, along with a new batch of screenshots.

North America on will see the game's release on June 12. European countries should start seeing the game roll out on June 15th, while Japan has a June 14th release date.

If you're playing Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan, there are a number of differences between the Japanese version and the US/EU version.  For example, there are a handful of costumes that will be exclusive to the PS3 or Xbox 360 Japanese Premium Edition. While most of the extras are purely aesthetic, there are also multiple character voices and additional in-game credits. “Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet and killer zombie hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw wielding cheerleader.
