Looks like someone's got a birthday coming up! Mystery Science Theater 3000 turns 30 this Thanksgiving, and to celebrate, a new six-episode season has been announced to premiere on Netflix on November 22nd. The new season will star Felicia Day (Supernatural), Patton Oswalt, and Jonah Ray (Fantasy Hospital, Victor Crowley) as well the voice talents of Rebecca Hanson, Baron Vaughn, and Hampton Yount.

A trailer for the new season has yet to be released, but you can check out the official announcement below, and stay tuned to Daily Dead for more updates on the new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

"We’ve got movie sign! In the not-too-distant future, six brand-new episodes of the cult television show Mystery Science Theater 3000 will be available exclusively on Netflix starting on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, 2018.

In the new season of the show, Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) and her loyal henchman, Max (Patton Oswalt) unveil the latest innovation in movie riffing. Can Jonah Heston and the bots survive sitting through six cheesy movies in a row? Confined aboard the Satellite of Love, Jonah lives with his robot friends, Gypsy (voiced by Rebecca Hanson), Tom Servo (voiced by Baron Vaughn), and Crow T. Robot (voiced by Hampton Yount). Confronted with Kinga’s choices in torturous films, Jonah and the bots band together to ward off lunacy by continuously riffing on the movies in rapid-fire succession.

Thanksgiving Day this year also marks the 30th Anniversary of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which premiered on Thanksgiving Day, 1988, on KTMA in Minneapolis, with series creator Joel Hodgson as the host."
