Happy Thursday, everyone! We’re back today with the second set of interviews from our Indie Horror Month Revisited video series, featuring Oren Peli, the mastermind behind the Paranormal Activity franchise. During this first part of our interview with Peli, he discusses leaving behind his day job in hopes of making his first feature, the inspiration behind the idea of Paranormal Activity, finding cast members Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat, and the arduous road he traveled to ensure that the film would be enjoyed by fans on the big screen after a series of successful screenings.

Check out the first part of our IHM: Revisited video interview with Oren Peli below, and be sure to head back here tomorrow for the second half of our in-depth discussion with Peli right here on Daily Dead.
