Arriving in theaters this holiday weekend is A Quiet Place Part II from writer/director John Krasinski. The sequel sees the return of the surviving Abbott family members (with Krasinski reprising his role in a harrowing flashback sequence), but we’re also introduced to a handful of new characters as well, played by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

During the press day for A Quiet Place Part II last March, Daily Dead sat down to chat with both Murphy and Hounsou about joining in on the fight against the invading alien monsters, and the duo discussed how excited they were coming aboard the sequel and how these films are about so much more than the monsters. They also discussed the challenges they faced while making A Quiet Place Part II and working with the original cast, including Millicent Simmonds, who made a huge impression on them during production.

Check out our video interview with Djimon Hounsou and Cillian Murphy below and be sure to check out A Quiet Place Part II in theaters this weekend!
