At long last we seem to be clawing our way out of the sticky summer months into the crisp embrace of fall. And with the change in seasons comes my favorite autumn tradition, a viewing of Over the Garden Wall! This mini-series (originally aired on Cartoon Network in 2014) is the perfect way to get into the spooky season mood, and I’d love to have you join me and Derek Anderson as we host a Twitch Watch Party on Monday, October 2nd at 8pm EST.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Over the Garden Wall follows young Wirt (Elijah Wood) and his younger brother Greg (Collin Dean) as they find themselves lost in a mysterious forest. To get out they’re going to need to get through encounters with anthropomorphic jack o’lanterns, haunted houses, mysterious witches, and a dark beast with malevolent intentions, all while figuring out how they got there in the first place.

The episodes are short, so we’ll be able to run the entire series in about the time it takes to get through a feature length movie! You can find it streaming on Hulu and for purchase at most major online outlets, and you can join us for the festivities on Twitch at DailyDeadTwitch. We hope to see you there!
