"A modern horror classic collected in a single premium hardcover—Rachel Rising delivers a powerful supernatural mystery cementing Terry Moore as one of comics’ most versatile storytellers and anchoring the horror pillar of the Abstract Studio imprint at Dark Horse."

This December, Dark Horse Books is set to release the next book in Terry Moore’s Abstract Studio line: The Complete Rachel Rising. Written and illustrated by Moore, The Complete Rachel Rising "collects all forty-two issues of the modern horror classic along with the twenty-page, never-before-collected issue #0 prequel comic." Like all of the books in the Abstract Studio line, this hardcover edition will also include brand-new cover art by Moore and newly designed pages. We're excited to share with Daily Dead readers the first details on the upcoming hardcover edition, along with a preview you can read right now!

About Rachel Rising: "When Rachel climbs from a shallow grave with no memory of her death, she sets off a chain of sinister revelations connecting a small town’s past to its violent present. Combining slow-burn horror, dark mystery, and Moore’s trademark character work, Rachel Rising remains one of the most acclaimed horror comics of all time."

The Complete Rachel Rising will be available in both bookstores and comic shops on December 15, 2026. It is now available for preorder at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and your local comic shop and bookstore for $59.99.
