This morning's Microsoft E3 press conference focused on the Xbox One launch titles. Dead Rising 3 had been rumored to be a part of the Xbox One lineup and it was officially announced today. We expect to have more content for the game over the course of the week, but are kicking off our E3 coverage with the first gameplay footage from Dead Rising 3.

Dead Rising 3 features a new hero, named Nick Ramos, and it looks like gamers are given a bigger open world to play in this time around. Based on the footage below, the game appears to be taking more of a realistic approach to the material than the first two games. Capcom should be providing us with a full feature list and screenshots this week, so we'll update this story as soon as new content comes in.
