During Gearbox Community Day this past weekend, studio head Randy Pitchford revealed that Lance Henriksen would be involved in the Aliens: Colonial Marines video game:
“The synthetics manufactured by Weyland-Yutani all look the same, and so Lance is involved. There’s a synthetic named Rook that has the same likeness as Lance, and the same voice. He’s Bishop from the movie.”
Aliens: Colonial Marines is a first person shooter that has been in the works for some time, but details and gameplay have only been revealed within the last few weeks. One really interesting aspect of this game is that it is a canonical sequel to Aliens and allows players to revisit the settings of the first and second movie with an all new storyline.
Aliens: Colonial Marines is scheduled to be released in 2012 for the PC and multiple console platforms. You can check out our previous coverage, which includes game details, screenshots, and the E3 teaser trailer. [Thanks AVP Galaxy]
