*Updated with photos, including the first official photo of Godzilla* After making a splash at Comic-Con with their Godzilla Experience and convention-only footage, Legendary Pictures will be releasing the first trailer for the new Godzilla movie tomorrow. Ahead of the trailer premiere, a viral website has been discovered, along with two videos.

Today, a website went online for M.U.T.O. Research, which appears to be a government division and/or research facility. Both videos below were found on the website and we expect more content to appear over the coming months. You can view the site for yourself by visiting:

“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are the executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.”

Godzilla will be released to US theaters on May 16th, 2014 and is expected to be presented in 3D. While Warner Bros. will be handling most of the worldwide roll-out, Toho will be taking over for the Japanese release. As for tomorrow's trailer, Collider is reporting a non-traditional "worldwide satellite debut" with "one feed happening at 1:00 – 1:15pm EST and a second feed at 4:00 – 4:15pm EST." We'll provide readers with more details as soon as we hear anything.
