Back in October, it was revealed that Dark Horse was relaunching their Aliens and Predator universe and have four titles in development. We now have details on when you can expect to see the new series and a teaser image.
The Alien, Predator, and Aliens vs. Predator comic book series will be completely rebooted and will now share a single continuity. Additionally, a Prometheus comic book series is in the works and will be a part of this shared universe. A "writer's room" approach will be taken, with Chris Roberson writing the new Aliens series, Chris Sebela writing Aliens vs. Predator, Joshua Williamson on Predators, and Paul Tobin writing Prometheus.
While the series are considered canon and will follow after the movies, they will not continue the adventures of any of the main characters and will feature a brand new cast. We'll have more details on this as we get closer to June 2014. Until then, here's the release schedule and the new teaser image:
