The Warcraft movie is expected to begin filming next month in Vancouver and we have news of two additions to the cast. Legendary Pictures confirmed that Clancy Brown and Daniel Wu are officially on board and will be joining Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky. A number of other actors, including Dominic Cooper and Colin Farrell, have been in the running for roles, but have not officially signed on at this time.

“Legendary Pictures’ WARCRAFT, a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe, will be directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and is written by Charles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Alex Gartner. Stuart Fenegan, Jillian Share and Brent O’Connor will serve as executive producers. Blizzard’s Chris Metzen will co-produce.”

After originally set to for release in December 2015, Universal moved Warcraft to March 11, 2016 to avoid Star Wars Episode 7.  With filming starting soon, the cast will begin to firm up quickly and we'll make sure to share any news with Daily Dead readers.
