Did the teaser trailer get you excited for the next trip to The Further? Unfortunately, you'll have to wait just a bit longer, as we've received word that Insidious: Chapter 3 has a new release date.
“The newest chapter in the terrifying horror series is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell. This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.”
The directorial debut of Leigh Whannell off his own screenplay, Insidious: Chapter 3 stars Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Leigh Whannell. The Blumhouse Productions film from Focus Features was originally scheduled for release on on May 29th, 2015, but has now been moved back one week to June 5th, 2015.
