Enough time has passed in the world of AMC's The Walking Dead for a whole new generation to experience their formative years among the living dead, and in their third Walking Dead series, AMC will explore what it means to grow up in a world where walkers roam. Ahead of its panel at New York Comic Con, AMC revealed new photos from the third Walking Dead series, offering a closer look at what's to come.

Premiering in the spring of 2020 on AMC, the third Walking Dead series is featured in the new photos below, and in case you missed it, you can get to know the characters of the new show in the previously released teaser video. The new Walking Dead series panel will take place on Saturday, October 5th at 11:30am:

"AMC released today first-look images from the upcoming third series in The Walking Dead Universe. The series will make its panel debut at New York Comic Con this Saturday, October 5 at 11:30am, with participants including Co-Creators Scott M. Gimple and Showrunner Matt Negrete, along with cast members Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston and Nico Tortorella.

The third installment of the franchise will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad. Produced and distributed by AMC Studios, the series will premiere on AMC in spring 2020."
