When you're a retired assassin, the target finds a new home on your own back, so when The Black Kaiser (Mads Mikkelsen) wants to put his gun down and his feet up in the new movie Polar, he finds peace and quiet swapped for pain and bloodshed... especially after things get personal in the trailer for the upcoming Netflix movie.

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund (whose other new movie, Lords of Chaos, comes out in February) and based on Victor Santos' Dark Horse graphic novel Polar: Came From the Cold, Polar stars Mikkelsen, Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick, and Matt Lucas. Featuring a new score by deadmau5, Polar will be released on Netflix on January 25th.

Synopsis: "The world’s top assassin, Duncan Vizla, aka The Black Kaiser (Mads Mikkelsen), is settling into retirement when his former employer marks him as a liability to the firm. Against his will, he finds himself back in the game going head to head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced."
