It has recently been announced that QED International will produce a new horror film, titled Haunt, and we have the first casting news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liana Liberato (Trust), Harrison Gilbertson (Conspiracy 365), and Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom) have all signed on.

The screenplay was written by Andrew Barrer and involves a family who moves into a haunted house:

"A family that moves into a new home with a dark past. When their son becomes involved with a beautiful girl next door, and together they begin to explore their sexual awakening, they unwittingly invoke an alternative dimension of the house."

Gilbertson will be playing the son of the family who moves into the new home, while Liberato will play the girl next door, and Weaver is said to play the role of a former resident of the house. This will be the first feature film directed by Mac Carter, who is known for his commercial work, and production is scheduled to begin later this year.
