While in the lair Ofelia is tempted by a table filled with delicious food. Even though she was warned not to consume anything the starving girl eats two grapes, awakening the Pale Man. Ofelia escapes but two of her fairy guides are devoured by the Pale Man.Creature suit actor extraordinaire Doug Jones plays both the Pale Man and The Faun in this moving tale of the human struggle.
