Godzilla isn't the only colossal creature on the block in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. In the upcoming sequel, the radioactive reptile will have its hands full with the mammoth likes of Mothra, Rodan, and the three-headed King Ghidorah, and you can see Godzilla getting ready to take on a fellow (or in this case, not-so-fellow) monster of Earth in a new image from the film.
Shared by director Michael Dougherty on Twitter with the caption, "King of Kings," and initially featured in an issue of Total Film (and shared online by GamesRadar), the new image shows Godzilla refusing to flee in the face (or in this case, one of the faces) of an oncoming King Ghidorah, with a massive monster brawl about to shake the Earth on a stormy night.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance."
Directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus, Trick 'r Treat), Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi. A Legendary Pictures film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released to theaters on May 31st, 2019 from Warner Bros.
