Comic-Con left as quickly as it arrived, but is there is plenty of exciting news that came out of the convention. Blizzard Entertainment has teamed up with Titan Comics to bring the demon-plagued world of Diablo to life in a new four-part comic series written by Marv Wolfman (Blade) with artwork by Piotr Kowalski (Wolfenstein).

The Diablo comic book will follow a group of zealots on a journey to find the real origins of humanity. Both Blade and Wolfenstein are more than solid series with high-caliber writing and illustrations, which could make for a perfect blend with a series like Diablo.

Set in the dark and demon-infested world of Sanctuary, the Diablo game series invites players to face down the infernal hordes of the Burning Hells—and rewards them for their efforts with piles and piles of epic loot. Diablo III, the current installment, set a record for fastest-selling PC game, with over 3.5 million copies sold in the first day of its release, and more than 30 million sold to date. Diablo III is available for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
