From the Press Release: LOS ANGELES – RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has picked up select rights to PREVENGE from Shudder, AMC Networks’ streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. PREVENGE will be released on Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray on August 18, 2020.
Directed, written by and starring Alice Lowe (Sightseers, Hot Fuzz), the horror/comedy also stars Gemma Whelan (“Game of Thrones”), Kate Dickie (“Game of Thrones”) and Jo Hartley (Eddie the Eagle). RLJE Films will release PREVENGE on DVD for $27.97 and on Blu-ray for $28.97.
In PREVENGE, Ruth’s misanthropic unborn baby speaks to her from the womb, coaching her to lure and ultimately kill her unsuspecting victims. Struggling with her conscience, loneliness, and a strange strain of prepartum madness, Ruth must ultimately choose between redemption and destruction at the moment of motherhood.
