Blu-rays & DVDs:

Salem’s Lot (Warner Home Video, Blu-ray)

A New England village is plagued by vampirism in this blood-curdling shocker based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King, directed by Tobe Hooper (Poltergeist) and starring David Soul, James Mason, Bonnie Bedelia, Lew Ayres and Ed Flanders.

Sinister events bring together a writer fascinated with an old hilltop house, a suave antiques dealer whose expertise goes beyond bric-a-brac and the dealer's mysterious, pale-skinned partner.

Stephen King’s Cat’s Eye (Warner Home Video, Blu-ray)

An anthology of three Stephen King short stories, connected by a supernatural stray cat who wanders through each tale.

Stephen King’s IT (Warner Home Video, Blu-ray)

It can be anything. A fanged monster that won’t stay on the movie screen. Something ominous lurking in the basement. No matter what your biggest fear is, no one knows It better than Stephen King.

Based on the King Of Horror’s 1986 bestseller, It is a jittery, jolting excursion into personal fear. A malevolent force in a small New England town takes the shape of a clown, but he’s not clowning around. Instead, he terrifies youngsters and brings some to their untimely doom – until some wily kids fight back. The evil resurfaces 30 years later: meaner, angrier, deadlier. And friends who vividly remember youthful terrors reunite to fight It.

Charlie the Choo-Choo: From the World of The Dark Tower

Fans of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower will definitely want this picture book about a train engine and his devoted engineer.

Engineer Bob has a secret: His train engine, Charlie the Choo-Choo, is alive…and also his best friend. From celebrated author Beryl Evans and illustrator Ned Dameron comes a story about friendship, loyalty, and hard work.

Grey Matter Art: I’m a big fan of the creations that Grey Matter Art showcases on a regular basis, so if you’re looking for some gift ideas that involve cool movie posters, you’ll definitely want to check out their entire selection. A few prints that really popped out at me though were Escape From New York, The Fly, The Toxic Avenger and this badass art from Francesco Francavilla that’s a tribute to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Vinyl Pick of the Day:

Light in the Attic: If you’re looking for a great resource to find some obscure and cult film soundtracks, definitely check out Light in the Attic, as they have a lot of really random and cool titles available for purchase, including the soundtracks for Spookies, From a Whisper to a Scream, Frankenhooker, or even Phantasm.

Last Exit to Nowhere: For today’s apparel selections, we’re making a stop at the Last Exit to Nowhere online shop, which features hundreds of pop culture-themed shirts, accessories, and more. There were a few designs I thought would make for perfect gifts for any horror or sci-fi lover you need to shop for this December, including this Tremors-inspired design, this hat tip to the bar in Gremlins, this killer Big Trouble in Little China shirt, their nod to The Thing, as well as their tribute to everyone’s favorite antiques dealers from Salem’s Lot.

Also, it may not be clothing, but Last Exit’s “Little Ripley” Christmas cards are cute as hell, too.

Enamel Pins:

Lunar Crypt: Today’s enamel pin choices come from the lovable lunatics over at Lunar Crypt. Check out these awesome pin designs, including their Glow-in-the-Dark Haunted House, a tribute to everyone’s favorite Haddonfield-based babysitter, or this stab-tastic Chucky pin.

And for all you Walking Dead fans out there, you might want to nab this Lucille-inspired enamel pin from Aftermath Pins.
